The obstruction detected error is shown in the Home app in case the SOMA Connect thinks that the device does not have a name.
Open the Smart Shades app and connect to the device which shows the obstruction detected error in the Home app. Check that the name is shown in the device settings page and the device does not show up as an Unconfigured Device.
Also, there was an issue in the SOMA Connect software, which has been fixed in version 2.2.0, where it was not possible to control devices having a name consisting only of numbers (e.g. "1", obstruction detected error was shown in the Home app in this case). Follow the guide here to update the SOMA Connect or change the device name to something else in the Smart Shades app.
