Preconditions
- SOMA Smart Shades / SOMA Tilt devices have been set up in the Smart Shades app
- The latest version of SOMA Connect software has been installed
- SOMA Connect has been connected to the network
- Smart Shades app is closed
To add the devices to HomeKit
- Open the Home App
- Tap “Add Accessory” or the + sign on the top right corner
- Select “Add Accessory” from the action sheet
- Select “More Options...”
- A list of nearby accessories is displayed
- Select SOMA Connect/Connect-bridge from the list
- If the SOMA Connect does not appear:
- Make sure the latest version of SOMA Connect software has been installed
- Make sure that SOMA Connect has been connected to the network
- Try to reset SOMA Connect HomeKit settings
- If the SOMA Connect does not appear:
- If prompted: “Uncertified Accessory”, press “Add Anyway”
- Enter the 8-digit SOMA Connect HomeKit code: 031-45-154 or 0314-5154 (iOS 16+)
- Go through the list of shades and blinds by pressing the Next button
- To finish, tap Done
